Team Palmetto Information
South Carolina Youth Wrestling Association/SCYWA - Team Palmetto Wrestling is a non- profit organization! SCYWA desires to invest in South Carolina youth wrestling by providing unprecedented opportunities to compete at state and national levels. Membership fees will be utilized to further South Carolina youth wrestling at a “grass roots” level. SCYWA encourages and promotes the involvement of all coaches and clubs. We feel SCYWA is to be run and directed by and from coaches from all areas of the state. Ultimately, we will strive to develop South Carolina wrestlers that will go on to compete at national level tournaments, and continue their wrestling careers past a high school level.
Our mission at SCYWA and Team Palmetto Wrestling, Inc. is to promote ALL styles of amateur wrestling in South Carolina for all ages through an emphasis on youth wrestling.
